Cricket World Cup 2011 Venues in Sri Lanka

Cricket World Cup 2011 will be staged in three Venues in India. These venues in Sri Lanka were finalized in 2009. Many of these Sri Lankan venues for Cricket World Cup 2011 have not hosted any international cricket matches as of today. ICC has inspected these venues in Sri Lanka, and given their approval for hosting intenration al cricket matches.

Please find below a list of Cricket World Cup 2011 venues in Sri Lanka.

  • R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo (35,000 capacity)

  • Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy (35,000 capacity)

  • Hambantota International Cricket Stadium in Hambantota (33,000 capacity)
